1988: listing considered, building lost
In the summer of 1988 Cadw surveyed the farm buildings. In December, days before the demolition, it was reported to be considering asking the Secretary of State to protect the house. The house was demolished on 6 December 1988. The record of the heritage side of that year follows; the eviction itself is in Recorded Incidents.

- Record:
EV-0268 (Legal Wiki, Evidence Register)
“Included as a little altered early C19 farmhouse having group value with the adjoining cottage”; “Interior not available at resurvey”.

What it does not show. A comparison only; it tells us nothing about Great House Farm itself.
